Throughout my life, therapy has been a secure, safe haven for me, and this is the core of what I aim to offer my clients. For almost two decades, I have worked with people across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked with young mothers and their children in my home city of Montreal, queer and trans youth in New York City, Toronto, and Hamilton, and people of diverse faiths, abilities, and ethnic backgrounds.
As a registered social worker and therapist, my approach is to focus on understanding emotions as a way of creating change and new ways of relating to both others and oneself. I help my clients make sense of their relationships and emotions, and how they experience attachment. I am interested in helping people heal as a couple, as a family, or with their individual challenges. I am committed to ongoing professional training and personal growth, and to learning from new directions in my field, including the areas of racial trauma and how the body is affected by trauma and emotions.
I am passionate, dedicated, genuine, and empathetic. I am inspired by watching others find meaningful connection in their relationships and flourish as individuals.
